Baseline study, Liverpool Waters (2008)

I provided technical direction for preliminary walkover and data collection for the baseline study of the Liverpool Waters site, which was intended to inform the future design of this large waterfront scheme.  Ecological issues identified by the baseline study included: designated sites, breeding birds and wintering birds.

WYG subsequently undertook additional survey work and submitted a full EIA for the project after I left the company.  The scheme was approved for planning permission by Liverpool Council on 6th March 2012.
